Abstract


Dimension of Evaluation in Early Childhood Education Programs (1952-2013)
The evaluation of curriculum is as an important process as curriculum planning and implementation. The evaluation process reveals the curriculum’s strengths and weaknesses. An effective evaluation process makes it possible for the curriculum to develop and live up to expectations. The evaluation is an important process in preschool curriculums like the other curriculums. The aim of this research is to investigate the evaluation processes of the preschool curriculums applied in our country and to determine how the evaluation processes took place. It was a qualitative research and document scanning model were carried out. In this research, the evaluation processes of the preschool curriculums applied and still being applied in our country were investigated.
