Abstract


4th AND 5th GRADE SCHOOL STUDENTS' PERCEPTIONS OF ENVIRONMENTAL PROBLEMLES
The purpose of this study is to investigate the perceptions of school 4th and 5th graders about “environmental problems” through the use of their drawings. The participants of the study consist of 102 school students studying at two state and one private elementary located in the province of Tokat. The results showed that students’ drawings of environmental problems are consistent with the symbols they imaged when they were asked about the environmental problems in a questionnaire.
