Abstract


Organızatıonal Commitment Level Of Hıgh School Teachers
The purpose of this research was to examine the level of organizational commitment of teachers in high school. The population of the research is composed of high school teachers working in Kahramanmaraş Central Onikişubat and Dulkadiroğlu districts in the 2016-2017 academic year. Sampling was selected through cluster sampling. Among 2333 teachers working in the high schools in the provincial centers of Kahramanmaraş, 303 teachers were included in the research. The Organizational Commitment scale developed by Wasti (2000) was applied to the teachers included in the survey. The following findings were obtained: In normative and emotional commitment dimensions men perceive higher than women; in the dimension of normative commitment vice managements have higher perceptions than teachers; in the dimension of normative commitment Dulkadiroğlu district workers have higher perception than employees in Onikişubat district. The age of the participants, years of service in service and their branches do not have a significant influence on perceptions.
