Abstract


EVALUATION OF PRIMARY EDUCATION 4 GRADE STUDENTS DICTATION SKILLS
The aim of this study is evaluate of primary education 4th grade dictation skills of students in terms of several variables. Students dictation skills, settlements, sex, Turkish Course grade, according to transcripts from the Visual Arts Course were compared. Students in their final year of primary school. Based sentence according to the method of writing skills they have learned and italic handwriting is an important study for the evaluation of applications. Research conducted in the first week of June of the year 2012 and is screening model. The universe of study attending elementary school in the district of Yozgat Province 4th grade consisted of students. The sample of the study is located in the center of the town of Yozgat Sorgun District 75. Yıl Cumhuriyet Primary School 4th grade with 16 students studying, in the district of Yozgat query Gedikhasanlı Şehit Mustafa Önder Primary School 4th grade 16 students studying in branch form. Relational data analysis, descriptive statistics and statistical methods independent of t and anova were used when testing. Research dictation skills of the students were found to be in good level. According to the settlements and dictation skills of students by gender does not show significant differences. However, according to transcripts from Turkish lessons and visual arts course dictated by the ability of their transcripts indicate significant differences.
