Abstract


Investigating Interactive White Board Speaking Skills Activities in Turkish Lessons According to Teachers’ and Students’ Ideas
The purpose of this study is to investigate teachers’ and students’ ideas on speaking skills activities conducted by interactive white boards in Turkish lessons. The method of this study is exploratory case study. Interview forms have been used for collecting data and obtained data have been analyzed through descriptive analysis technique. The study group has consisted of 20 teachers and 100 students from four secondary schools in Muş city center. At the end of the study, it has been determined that teachers believe the use of interactive white board is beneficial and they have observed their students liked speaking skills activities and students have positive attitudes towards the use of interactive white board, also they consider that the performed speaking skills activities have contributed to their expressing themselves.
